Keys to the Game: Boston Celtics vs Philadelphia 76ers (November 30, 2017)
Capitalize on Rest:
The Sixers are coming off of a LONG game against Washington last night. The Celtics are coming off of two days rest after a tough loss to Detroit. This is the first game in a while that Boston will have more rest than their opponent. Let us hope, as Celtics fans, that they can use that to their advantage.
Put the Detroit Loss in the Past:
It was a tough loss. They got bullied by the Pistons and had no real chance of pulling that one out. However, they need to forget about it and move on to the next one. Kyrie Irving had, quite possibly, his worst half of his Celtic career in his last half of play. He will also need to put that in the past. Prediction: Kyrie Irving will put the squad on his back tonight and repay the Celtics fan base for his lack-luster performance.
Ben "Beastly" Simmons:
Simmons had a 31 and 18 night last night. I doubt the back-to-back game affects him all that much, given his youth. He is a force to be reckoned with. He is a beast. The Celtics ABSOLUTELY need to make sure he does not go for 30+ and 15+ again. If he does, they may want to consider a hack-a-Simmons strategy. Similar to what we saw last night in the PHILA-WAS game.
