Keys to the Game: Celtics vs Lakers (November 8, 2017)
Punch 'Em in the Face Early On:
This Lakers team is coming into Boston with a two-game win streak. One win being against the Memphis Grizzlies, one of the better teams in the league. The Celtics will need to come out guns blazing and defend their home court. I believe they will do just that.
Avoid the Trap Game Potential:
Much like last game, this game has trap game written all over it. Why? Well, the Celtics are on a nine-game winning streak and just got back from a road trip. They might go out there and feel a little too comfortable. Just like I advised against the Hawks, the C's need to bring 48 minutes of intensity.
Shut Down the Lakers Youngins:
Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, and Brandon Ingram are really the only promising things about this organization. If the Celtics make sure at least two of them are shut down, they will be fine. It will take the wind right out of any sort of upright sails this Lakers team is using to navigate. Brook Lopez is decent, but I am confident Baynes/Horford will keep him quiet. Focus on the youngins.
