Keys to the Game: Celtics vs Knicks (October 24th, 2017)
Below are the three major keys to a Celtics victory as they take on the New York Knicks
Kyrie Irving Steps Up:
We, as Celtics viewers, are yet to see the big offseason acquisition take over a game. Sure, he did it during his stay on the Cavs, but with Hayward going down, Kyrie Irving needs to move the needle a little bit. What better time to do it at home against the winless Knicks.
Kristaps Porzingis is averaging 32 ppg this year (in two games - 33,31). He is on a team that isn't too good, sure. However, he is 100% the type of players that can go out there and win an entire game by himself. The Celtics need to pay note to him at all times. I hope, with a combo of Baynes and Horford, Porzingis is limited to about 23 points tonight.
Big Al Horford
This is now the second time in four games that Horford has been in the Keys to the Game. Horford is averaging only 14 and 7 (points and boards). Now, he showed a little bit of his potential shine in the Sixers face off, as he dropped 17, but I really need to continue to see him do that. He is a career 14ppg player, but I believe, in this role, he is capable of much more.
