Keys to the Game: Boston Celtics vs Milwaukee Bucks (December 4, 2017)
The Greek Freak has cooled off, but only by a bit. He is still averaging close to 30 points per game and ripping down 10 rebounds a game. This is one of the best players in the league. The Celtics first go about with the Bucks, Giannis did his thing and handed the C's a loss. The second time they played him well and ended up beating the Bucks. This time they'll have to hold Giannis to around 22-25 points if they want a real shot at winning. They need to make him uncomfortable. Morris, Tatum, Brown, Horford, and anyone covering him will need to step up.
The New Bucks Addition:
Eric Bledsoe is good. He is also a good fit for the Bucks. Bledsoe is now averaging 17 points per game with the Bucks along with Giannis' 30. That means these two are accounting for almost 50 points per game alone. The Celtics will need Kyrie, Smart, and Rozier to step up tonight on the defensive side of things. If they shut down Bledsoe, Giannis will be left out on an island. I see Kyrie having a great defensive night and rising to the occasion.
Al Horford played Giannis well in the Celtics win, but he was not really present on the defensive end when they lost to the Bucks. Which Big Al will us Celtics fans get to see tonight? I sure hope its the one that is ready to go for 20 and 10 with a great defensive game. Like I have said all season long, Horford is the key to any game, at any time.
