As if they weren't already a team to fear... The Bucks have traded Greg Monroe and a couple of 2018 picks to the Suns for point guard Eric Bledsoe. This, in my opinion, makes the Bucks good. Real good.
Realistically the Bucks did not need Greg Monroe. He was playing behind Thon Maker, who they believe to be their future big. Monroe has value, he isn't just some schmuck. But he isn't Eric Bledsoe good.
Bledsoe, when he actually tries and cares, can be one of the better scoring guards in the league. He is crazy athletic as well.
That said, this Bucks team just became even more of an athletic freak show. They are slating Giannis... we all know about him, Malcom Brogdan the crazy long guard, Khris Middleton also long, Thon Maker... long and athletic, and many more. This team may be the most physically gifted in the NBA.
The Bucks are currently 10th in the Eastern Conference with a record of 4-5. However, don't be surprised when that starts to change. This team will trend upward.
This trade makes the Bucks good. Real good.
