So my man Terry Rozier made an almost last-second steal to put the Boston Celtics up by one last night, winning them the game. The title states "I'm not surprised" which is 1000% true. Terry Rozier is a stud, and he is going to get better and better.
Point being, that there has been improvement from year to year. From year one to two, he became someone Brad Stevens could trust on the floor. We saw Rozier's minutes tick up. Now, in year three we see that he is actually contributing to the game. He is a crucial member of their success. Which is far different than last year.
So is it just the Rozier fan in me that thinks this kid could be something special? Maybe. But then again, he is starting to prove some people, that didn't believe in him, wrong. He is starting to actually impact games. He is now making his presence known.
"Terry Takeover" was playing out of his shoes in the early part of the season. So, he has since began to slow down when it comes to his statistics. However, I think that correlates perfectly to the timing of when Kyrie Irving really started hitting his stride.
I'll type this out again, just like I have in many, many articles. Terry Rozier is going to be an actual NBA stud sometime soon. Now, I am not saying that he'll be a superstar, but a stud indeed. He will be a guy teams would love to have on their roster, if he is not already at that point.
One last thing... If you were on the side of "we should've traded Terry for Ibaka" then I have one thing to say to you.... HA!
