Good morning, good afternoon... same thing, right? The Celtics lost a fairly close game last night, very sad. However, it was not the end of their season. No, they still have a HUGE game 7 on Saturday. The question is, can they really hold off the Bucks and win it? If so, what will they need to do?
Yes they can win it...duh. This team thrives at home. Well, both teams do (Celtics and Bucks). However, luckily enough the green had a better regular season and now they get the advantage.
THAT IS WHY THE NBA REGULAR SEASON MATTERS FOLKS.
If this game was in Milwaukee, I truly believe the Bucks would win the series, given the Celtics injuries. With Kyrie, they would sweep the Bucks. Yes, I said it... sweep. But that is just not the case here.
There are a few things that the team needs to capitalize on in order to secure this win.
First off, take goods shots... It seams simple. However, in their losses, we can all agree that they have taken a number of bad shots. It just boggles down to shot-selection. Milwaukee is making over 50% of their shots, the Celtics cannot afford to take bad shots.
The team also needs to shut down the tertiary players for the Bucks. Giannis and Middleton are going to have their numbers. You can't stop that. So make sure that Maker, Parker, Bledsoe, and their other scrubs like that, don't have an explosive game and end the Celtics season.
Lastly, in terms of things they NEED to do, the Celtics desperately need the TD Garden to be ROCKIN'. I guess that is not in their control, but hey, as fans let's handle that one for them!
Now, I have a couple predictions...
I predict thatJayon Tatum has a monster game. Best of the series yet. I can feel it. So far, he has been fairly up and down. But tonight, in the biggest game of his career (so far), he will rise.
I also predict that Greg Monroe will be a huge factor tonight. He has not really been present, but when it is all out on the table, I think he'll step up tonight. It could be his last game for the Celtics, he'll want to either make sure that does not happen, or go out with a bang and prove himself to the rest of the league.
Final Score: Celtics 106, Bucks 100
