Celtics were facing a 26 point deficit in the first half and managed to tie the biggest comeback in the NBA this season to defeat the Houston Rockets 99-98 at TD Garden.
Kyrie Irving was able to cut down the deficit scoring 12 of his 26 points in the 3rd Quarter. Jayson Tatum had another strong outing scoring 19 points including a huge score with just over 7 seconds left to bring the Celtics down to just 1 point.
James Harden finished the game with 34 points and 10 assists and Eric Gordon finished with 24.
Houston started the game hot going on a 12-0 run to begin the game. They were up 62-38 at the end of the half. Boston was able to comeback strong in the 3rd Quarter outscoring Houston 31-16 forcing the Rockets to make 7 turnovers in the quarter.
Overall great game, and after a tough stretch of games it was a great sight to watch Boston fight back to beat on of the top three offenses in the NBA and the point leader in James Harden.
