Kyrie Irving lit it up last night in Dallas when the Boston Celtics took down the Dallas Mavericks 110-102 in over time. Irving poured in 47 points on 16-22 shooting from the field. He also recorded 6 assists.
Irving started off hot, making his first nine shots. Celtics fans knew they were in for a good night.
But not only did Irving start hot...
He finished hot.
The Celtics needed Irving down the stretch and he did not disappoint whatsoever.
Overall, I think Celtics fans are starting to see just how good Kyrie Irving really is. I know it took him a while to actually get going, or to become that "takeover" Kyrie we all saw at times in Cleveland, but it is happening now. No doubt about it.
Irving is not averaging 22.5 points a game. That stat has climbed about 2 points in just two games. He has dropped 30 and 47 in back-to-back games now.
Not to toot my own horn, but I believe I said Irving would have at least two 30-point nights in November when I published, "The Kyrie Irving Engine Has Started"
Kyrie has now recorded three 30-point games this month. And you know what...
There are still a few more days left in November and Kyrie Irving can't be stopped.
