It is fantasy football time again. We all love it, that is until we hate our team by week three. So this year, 2016, don't hate your team. Sounds simple, is simple. I am going to outline some players to target during your draft and during your season this year.
I am going to give you a player in each of the playmaking positions. The positions I will be going over include QB, RB, and WR.
Let's start with the QB position:
Quarteback - Jacksonville Jaguars
Bortles is going to have a tremendous season. There is not a doubt in my mind. He has one of the most athletic and playmaking receiving cores in the league. It is almost a quarterback's dream to be able to have options like Allen Robinson, Julius Thomas, and Allen Hurns. All of those guys are viable threats, and in fantasy the guy throwing them the ball gets the points. Bortles has more to offer than his options around him. He is a big athletic guy with a good decision making ability. Don't be surprised if Bortles is one of the top Qb's in fantasy football this year, I sure won't be.
Wide Receiver - Miami Dolphins
I have been a Jarvis Landry fan since he first stepped foot onto the NFL stage. He has had his ups and downs, but this year I feel will be a tremendous up. The Dolphins feel as if he is a bigger focus in their offense going into 2016. The guy can get himself open, get touches and targets, and make plays. He was a fairly dependable wide receiver last season, and there is no reason to think he'll do anything but improve this year. Landry, again, will be getting a great amount of targets this season and when he gets targetted he makes plays. If you can snag Landry in your fantasy league, I strongly advise you to do so.
Running Back - Houston Texans
Lamar Miller, Lamar Miller, Lamar Miller. This guy is due for a huge season. He is now "the guy" within this Houston offense. He is a good running back, everyone knows that. However, I think there is a huge chance people are saying he is great by the end of the 2016 season. This change of teams is perfect for Miller. He has a much larger role this season. This guy will be a top fantasy running back this season. He plans to improve his passing game skill and plans to continue to improve on the ground.
So those three guys are due for a great season. It is very attainable to grab all of them in the same draft. Miller, Landry, Bortles would be the order to do so.
