The last week of the regular season for the Boston Bruins started off with a 3-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks Sunday afternoon. Anton Khudobin picked up his sixth consecutive win as the Bruins have now won a season-best five games in a row. Now holding onto the second spot in the Atlantic division, the Black and Gold could be one more win away from punching their ticket to the postseason.
Tuesday April 4th vs Tampa Bay @ TD Garden: The Tampa Bay Lightning play the Dallas Stars tonight at Amalie Arena. If Tampa were to pick up no more than one point tonight, the Bruins can win in any fashion Tuesday night and clinch. The Bruins have their numbers against the Bolts season, edging a 6-1 regular season series. Hopefully when the Blue and White come into Boston Tuesday night, the Black and Gold will come out on top victorious.
Thursday April 6th vs Ottawa @ TD Garden: Another important in-division game makes it way to Boston once again. The Bruins and Senators face off at seven o’clock Eastern Time. Boston is currently on a five game winning streak while the Senators are slowing fading away on a staggering four game losing streak. They play the Red Wings tonight at 7.
Saturday April 8th vs Washington @ TD Garden: It’s a matinee at the Garden as the Bruins host the Capitals in their last game of the regular season. This season, the Bruins have proved they can play against the Capitals despite not coming out with the win. Hopefully the Bruins can beat the odds and end the season on a high note.
