The offseason is yet to conclude, and the Celtics already are looking at a far different roster dynamic than last year. So, below (just like i did last year before the season) I will illustrate what I think the roster and rotation will look like.
That being said, this starting 5 has the ability to score the rock. With Thomas, Horford, and the additions of Hayward and Morris, they will be a far more offensively talented team than last year with Thomas, Bradley, Crowder, Johnson, and Horford. I am excited to see Hayward play.
PG: Terry Rozier, 10min
SG: Jaylen Brown, 20min
SF: Jae Crowder, 17min/Jayson Tatum
PF: Jayson Tatum, 17min/Jae Crowder
C: Aron Baynes, 15min/Ante Zizic, 8min
(This is heavily weighing the chances all of these names pan out and are able to play in the NBA. If that is not the case, these minutes will obviously change)
This second unit might change, A LOT. But with the mix of young talent in there, there is a boatload of potential. Each of the above names brings something different to the table. Also, I've heard a bit of buzz from my sources about a potential "off the bench spark." Things may change. Again, this is based on today's roster.
So, other than the second unit names... these are my best guesses for the guys that may be on the team. They will not be playing a consistent amount of minutes night in and night out. Some nights, more than others, some less.
(About THREE of these names will stand when it comes time to start the season)
