The short-handed Boston Bruins entered a divisional matchup with the Toronto Maple Leafs looking to build off their thrilling 3-2 win in Montreal Saturday night. Boston had their way with Toronto back in Boston but the Leafs, still without Auston Matthews, would look to even up the season series.
With a little more than 2 years of NBA action in the books for *most* of the 2016 NBA Draft Class, it’s time to take a new look at the players who have emerged as the true top prospects from the 2016 draft class with a re-draft. Originally, I wasn’t going to include teams in this exercise because team fit can screw with the true purpose of the re-drafting exercise (ranking the best players from the draft class), but that would be boring. Team fit is half the fun. So, here’s how the 2016 NBA Draft SHOULD HAVE looked:

Sony Michel led the Patriots' ground attack on Sunday, busting out for 133 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries, for an outstanding 6.3 yards per carry average. The Patriots, as a team, ran the ball 36 times for 215 yards. Impressive. How impressive? The last time the New England Patriots rushed for over 200 yards was when "Flash In The Pan" JONAS GRAY exploded for 201 rushing yards against the Indianapolis Colts in 2014. With Bill Belichick's "challenge" to establish the run game coming out of the bye week, I'm left wondering if he realizes that the only way this team can survive in the post-season is to rely on the ONE thing that has been consistent: The run game with a healthy Sony Michel.
The Patriots have finally gotten fully healthy coming out off of their bye week.
If you needed any reasons to watch every game the Canadiens and Bruins go toe to toe, Saturday night’s installment of the rivalry was that and more.
The Celtics ended their 3-game losing streak Friday night after going into Atlanta and beating the Hawks 114-96.
While most at home were still recovering from food induced holiday hangovers or a day’s worth of Black Friday shopping, the Boston Bruins and Pittsburgh Penguins showed no signs of lethargy.
When the Patriots drafted Sony Michel with the 31st pick in last year's NFL Draft, there was a fair amount of shock around New England. The Patriots already had 4 quality running backs on their roster at the time in James White, Rex Burkhead, Jeremy Hill and Mike Gillislee. As it's turned out, the Patriots have needed that extra running back depth this season more than it seemed they would when the pick was made. Both Burkhead and Hill were placed on injured reserve before the Patriots could even get out of September and Mike Gillislee was cut before the season was even started.
