Last night, the Revs travelled to Florida to take on Orlando City S.C. in their Round of 16 matchup in the U.S. Open Cup. The Revs, who were coming off a great performance against the Red Bulls in their previous Open Cup matchup, faced off against Nani, among others for a chance at the quarterfinals. The team welcomed Carles Gil back into the lineup following his departure to Spain to handle personal business, and slotted Wilfried Zahibo into the midfield for his first chance in the Starting XI since the beginning of the season. Cristian Penilla started over Diego Fagundez, who seems to have lost his spot in the squad, rarely seeing playing time at this juncture, and Brandon Bye entered the lineup to replace DeJuan Jones, which seemed strange considering Jones has been one of the best rookies in MLS this season.
Before you jump down my throat, I want you to use your brain for a minute. Take your Terry hate out of the equation for one second, please. I promise you, this makes sense if you think about it logically... The question is, can you think about this logically?

Conflicting Reports: Boston Globe Claiming Kyrie Irving is “Ghosting” Celtics Despite Shams Charania Reporting Celtics and Irving Will Meet This Week to Discuss Future
Adam Himmelsbach of the Boston Globe is reporting that the Celtics have had “little, if any” communication with Kyrie Irving in recent weeks as Irving nears his free agency this summer. The report comes on the heels of Shams Charania reporting just one day earlier that the Celtics were planning to meet with Irving sometime this week to discuss his future. The two reports run counter to each other and only work to make the relationship between Irving and the Celtics more murky and confusing than it already appeared.
Al Horford has opted out of his contract with the Celtics and will reportedly look to sign elsewhere in free agency. Initial reports suggested Horford intended to re-sign with Boston on a 3-year deal, but Steve Bullpet of the Boston Herald broke the news late Tuesday evening that Horford was no longer committed to Boston and would look for a 4-year deal from another team this summer.

Coming off of a mediocre 4-3 week and a dispiriting series loss to the Rays, things didn't get any less important for the Red Sox. They were neck and neck with the Texas Rangers for a Wild Card spot as they went back to Fenway Park to host them for four games to kick off the week. It sounds crazy to call a mid-June series critical, but if Boston wanted to keep their postseason hopes alive, they'd need a strong showing against a surprising Texas squad in order to keep pace in the standings.

How far does his 2nd Finals MVP raise Kawhi Leonard up the list of all-time greats? Where does GM Masai Ujiri rank among the great team builders in NBA history? And of course we can’t forget about what this means for NBA Champion Jeremy Lin!
