The 2018 NFL Draft has come and gone, and I will admit, some picks made me want to throw my television out my window. After 3 days and 7 rounds, I have my 3 winners and 3 losers, and as a New England fan, I will dive into the Patriots draft class.
LIVE BLOG: Celtics vs. Sixers Game 1 - April 30, 2018 - 8pm
Coming into the NBA season, some wondered just how good the Celtics could be. Did they have enough to compete for a championship? Would they be the ones to finally dethrone LeBron in the East? And how well would their three All-Stars play together? As it turns out all that hype was built up only to come tumbling down and now as the Celtics head into the 2nd round, only one of those All-Stars remains: Al Horford.
I really wanted to be positive about David Price this season. Things seemed to be looking up for the southpaw starter. He had an injury plagued 2017, but came back late in the season to bolster the bullpen and help the Red Sox win their first playoff game since Game 6 of the 2013 World Series. In that contest he worked four scoreless innings of middle relief, striking out four and walking one as the Red Sox defeated the Astros 10-3. It would be their only playoff win. This year, with a (so far) healthy elbow, Price started the season gangbusters, but has faltered a bit since.
Arriving on the coattails of one of the more contentious playoff series in recent memory, the Boston Celtics will start a best of 7 with the Philadelphia 76ers, tomorrow night at the Garden. And if you thought that Celtics-Bucks series was “chippy” - you ain't seen nothin’ yet. There's history here, folks. History that should materialize as entertaining scuffles and boiling bad blood on the court. So grab your popcorn. This Eastern Conference Semifinals should be a doozy.
The Celtics and the Sixers are two of the true built for the future teams in the NBA. Now, they face-off in the second round of the NBA Playoffs. With the Celtics so beaten and bruised, it'll be interesting to see how well they can keep up with the Simmons and Embiid led Sixers.
After a huge game 7 victory on Wednesday, the Boston Bruins looked to carry their momentum into Amalie Arena Saturday afternoon to face the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first game of the series.
Game 7, the one that decides whether or not the Boston Celtics continue their season. The game starts at 8pm. It is about 2:30pm right now, and while I will pass the time by watching the B's begin their series with the Lightning, I am anxious and want this game to begin right now. Patiently waiting is something that is DEFINITELY not happening.
Good morning, good afternoon... same thing, right? The Celtics lost a fairly close game last night, very sad. However, it was not the end of their season. No, they still have a HUGE game 7 on Saturday. The question is, can they really hold off the Bucks and win it? If so, what will they need to do?
