Tom Brady was voted by his peers as the best player in football during the 2017 season. Not only did he miss the first 4 games of the season, he also accomplished this at the age of 39! That Himalayan salt and avocado ice cream really is GOAT fuel.
This isn’t the first time Brady was ranked number 1 on this list. In 2011 when the NFL network first started using player voting, TB12 ranked number 1. Since then, he has never ranked outside the top 4. That is just one of many accolades the GOAT has.
He's won five Lombardi Trophies, four Super Bowl MVPs, two NFL MVPs, and voted to 12 Pro Bowls. Only three quarterbacks in NFL history have thrown for more than 2,600 yards at age 40 or older, Brett Favre (40), Warren Moon (41) and Vinny Testaverde (41). With the acquisitions the Pats have made this offseason, it is likely that Brady will shatter Favre's age-40 season record of 4,202 yards and 33 touchdowns.
He is the Greatest to ever pick up a football and he isn’t done yet.
